These terms govern your use of this website and, where it is made available to you, the MarketplaceAlert service, including the Android app. MarketplaceAlert is a commercial service operated by Yuri Filanovsky, an individual based in Israel. Today, this public website is informational only. The application is implemented but is not offered to the public through this website. Subscriptions, trials, affiliate links and advertising are planned and are not active.
The service
This public website is informational only. The application described below is implemented but is not offered to the public through this website.
MarketplaceAlert lets you save keyword searches, searches the selected marketplaces on a schedule, and notifies you about new matching listings. It is an alerting tool: it does not sell, ship, hold or guarantee any item.
Who may use it
The service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18.
Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may stop using the service at any time. You can contact us at the email address in the Privacy Policy with requests about your account and personal data. An account deletion mechanism is not currently implemented; see the Privacy Policy for details and limits.
Third-party marketplaces
Listings come from third-party marketplaces that we do not own or control. Listing details (price, availability, condition, description) are provided by those marketplaces and may be inaccurate, out of date or removed. Any purchase is a transaction between you and the seller or marketplace under that marketplace’s own terms.
MarketplaceAlert is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any marketplace.
No guarantee of alerts
Alerts depend on third-party APIs, networks and notification providers. We do not guarantee that every listing will be found, that alerts will be timely or delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or access other users’ data.
- Do not use the service in a way that violates applicable law or a marketplace’s terms.
- We may limit or suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Free trial and paid plans (planned, not active)
Currently, the service does not take payments, and no subscription, trial or payment functionality is active.
Planned, not yet available: three paid plans – Basic, Plus and Pro – and a 60-day free trial of the Pro plan for each new user, starting on the registration date, with no credit card required and no automatic charge. After the trial you would be able to choose Basic, Plus or Pro. If you do not choose a paid plan, your scheduled searches would be paused, and your saved searches would not be automatically deleted. Prices and plan limits have not been decided.
These plans may be changed, delayed or cancelled. Prices, billing terms and any limits will be shown to you before you are asked to pay.
Affiliate links and advertising
The service may in the future earn revenue from approved affiliate programs or advertising. Neither is active today. If introduced, they will be disclosed, and listing links in alerts may then be affiliate links.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from missed, delayed or inaccurate alerts or listings.
Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the service or these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms do not currently specify a governing law or a court or dispute-resolution arrangement.
